Penelope and her foster, brother, Raindrop were owner surrendered, by no fault of their own at 8 (Penelope) and 6 (Raindrop) years old.  They've known each other for as long as they can remember.  

Penelope has the softest of fur and loves to be petted.  She is very laid back and will sit next to you and curl up in your lap once she is comfortable with you.  You can pick her up and put her in your lap and she will stay.
