Hagrid is a handsome orange boy with a gentle soul and a cautious heart. He’s shy with strangers and likes to take things at his own pace, so he’d do best  in a calm home where he can feel safe and understood. When Hagrid feels uncomfortable, he may give a warning swat—but he’s not a bad guy, just honest about his boundaries.  He did have a kittie buddy that he did well with but we also think he'd be great as an only kitty.

The good news? Once Hagrid trusts you he's formed a special connection with one of our staff and responds beautifully to patience, kindness, and—most of all—food as a motivator. For the right person who’s willing to go slow and earn his trust, Hagrid will be a loyal, rewarding companion.
