Marian is a truly special cat—affectionate, smart, and delightfully funny. She’s also absolutely beautiful, with a luxuriously fluffy coat that hints she may have a bit of Maine Coon in her heritage.

This sweet girl is very people-oriented and loves being part of your daily life. She’ll happily “chat” with you throughout the day, gaze right into your eyes when she wants attention (which is often!), and even bat at your ankles to invite you to play. Marian isn’t a full-on lap cat, but she enjoys affection on her own terms—she loves being petted and brushed, and will snuggle up beside you on the bed at night.

She especially loves having her chin scratched with the brush and will happily soak up the attention.

Marian is playful and energetic, with adorable bursts of zoomies a couple of times a day where she races around the house. She loves interactive play, especially wand toys, and would thrive in a home where people are around often to engage with her. She could also do well with another young adult cat who understands when it’s time to play—and when it’s time to rest.
